This is a cheaper version of the solar shower fountains. The reason being is that the solar showers have a rechargeable battery that the solar panel can charge during the day so they can used at night, lit up by the LED lights. The Solar fountain 250 only works in direct sunlight, so it starts working when the sun comes out, but then will slow or stop if it becomes overcast and dull. However, it is a cheap but effective fountain that is ideal for small ponds and patio pond water features.
